REVOLUTIONARY WAR VETERANS SETTLING IN CARROLL COUNTY, 1826-1840
A project of the Casimir Pulaski Chapter Sons of the American Revolution has been to identify Revolutionary War Veterans who settled in “historical” Carroll County between 1826-1840. “Historical” Carroll County refers to it’s original boundaries which included Campbell County (now Douglas) and portions of Haralson and Heard counties.
Thus far 17 Revolutionary War Veterans have been identified, With the assistance and support of the Abraham Baldwin Chapter Daughter of the American Revolution and the Carroll County Veterans Park Association , their names have been inscribed on one of the black marble walls in the Veterans Park. On
